Champions Golf Links is a Public 9 hole golf course located in Sacramento, California.
Champions Golf Links opened for play in 1996. The course was designed by Richard Bigler.
The course plays to a 9 hole par of 30 and maximum 9-hole distance of 1,946 yards. Additional tee positions are available for those who wish to play a double loop 18-holes.
The course closed for in 2010. One of our members alerted GolfCourseRanking.com to the closure and regarding the closure said, "Just a note to let you know that Champions has closed. Course was a great place for practice rounds, working on your game, etc., but the owner got too greedy. Wanted to sell the land for a huge profit - let the course go downhill. Then the market fell out of construction and by that time the course was in such bad shape it couldn't be brought back without spending a large sum of money. So it closed."

This was a great practice course when it was open...was in good condition, provided sufficient difficulty to hone one's game...but now their closed - and have been for several years.
